Gab-a-way on GMTV

November 30th, 2009

Kate Gab-a-way,   What is it with this woman?

She thinks she is the most stunning thing to walk this planet,   How wrong can one person get it?

Her cow like voice  (listen when she says ‘aahhhhhh’)  is so infuriating,  she drives me mental!!

Get this woman off our screen,

the program’s bad anyway,  but was better without her!

November 29th, 2009

Remember the headlines last week about the man who had been diagnosed as being in a vegetative coma for 23 years only for tests to be done showing that he’s actually conscious but paralysed? (more…)

Parliamentary evidence check: homeopathy

November 25th, 2009

Back in 2006 the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), the government agency for ensuring that medicines and medical devices work, and are acceptably safe, was slated by scientists, skeptics and other rationalists after they changed guidelines regarding the over-the-counter sale of homeopathic products. Who needs human rights anyway?

November 21st, 2009

“A Navy vessel was just 50ft away as pirates kidnapped the British yacht couple. Why didn’t our sailors stop them? Human rights, of course…” The Daily Mail wails as it wrings its hands in disgust.

Bloody human rights eh. Who needs them?

I don’t even know what my human rights are. I just know they’re BAD and they make me ANGRY. I wasn’t angry enough when I read the Daily Mail this morning so I had to look those pesky human rights up and I’m about to have an aneurysm now, I swear. (more…)

Daily Wail reading causes cancer

November 20th, 2009

LONDON – Man diagnosed with cancer after reading a Daily Wail.

Yesterday, a 62-year-old man was diagnosed with cancer after reading a Daily Wail. Specialists believe that the stress induced by reading scare-mongering stories in the Wail weakened Mr. Fred Mc Spreading’s immune system allowing a tumour to develop in his abdomen almost the size of a cup. What have the unions ever done for us?

November 20th, 2009

It’s a question we hear all the time when we’re talking to people about joining the union. What they should be asking is ‘What have my bosses ever done for me?’ and ‘Can I afford NOT to join a union?’

We take so much for granted now that we tend to forget the basic rights that were fought for and won by the unions. Without unions, there would be no minimum wage, no weekend, no limit to the hours you could be demanded to work, no health and safety, no sick pay, no annual leave, no maternity pay… you get the idea. The Daily Wail and racism.

November 20th, 2009
Publicy the Daily Wail does not support the BNP but if you look at the many headlines concerning immigrants, it’s hard not to find similarities in their views.

We are constantly told that immigrants are given houses they don’t need to pay for, free gas, electricity, even free food. Non whites are apparently to blame for most crime, especially violent crime and if caught are given a slap on the wrist and let off.

The Wail would have us believe that Christianity will shortly be banned in this country, Christmas already has been and mosques are taking over our cities.

Of course, if you actually read the articles properly and question what is written, the truth is very different. So what is the Daily Wail’s agenda? Why do they print misleading stories? What do they hope to achieve? Perhaps, more importantly, should they be allowed to get away with it?

Official – Nick Griffin is Barking

November 19th, 2009

This week, Dick Griffin revealed that he would be standing in the Barking constituency in the next general election. This was just a few days after an appeal for donations to launch the party’s “run-up campaign to the general election” when he wrote: “In this next General Election I will be standing in Thurrock where the split vote between the old parties means we could win a Parliamentary seat with just 27% of the vote”. The PC brigade

November 14th, 2009

I’ve seen this mentioned a few times again recently and had a quick ponder on its usage.

What is political correctness?

Well, it seems to be a general mode of thought or action that addresses discrimination or inequalities regarding others. Race, gender, sexual orientation, disability, etc., are areas where political correctness is used to weed out discrimination and language use that is seen to be offensive.

e.g. words like “nigger” or “faggot” are deemed unacceptable with political correctness because their usage is intended to cause offence.

I think most people would agree that PC used in this way is a good thing. (more…)
